Artwork Requirements

Theses guidelines are basic steps to follow when providing artwork to download into our systems. By following these steps your products will be produced on time as well as minimising artwork fees.

We accept files from the following applications:

-Adobe Illustrator v10

-EPS

-High resolution PDF
Files can  be transferred via email, floppy disk, CD-Rom or Flash drive (USB). For large files it is recommended using a CD-Rom.

All Applications

All graphics and text MUST be converted to paths, curves or outlines.
Digital Applications

Any photographs or bitmaps should be set up at ¼ of final size at minimum 300 dpi.

Colours
All files are to be saved in CMYK colour mode NOT RGB.

You must nominate all colours providing the equivalent Pantone (PMS) code and or CMYK%. Screen colours are never accurate and different printers will have varying results, therefore these codes are important. With vinyl applications there is a limitation to the colours available, particularly banner vinyls. The PMS codes will assist in getting as close as possible to your corporate colours.

It is advisable where possible to include with your files a colour proof or printout with markings showing font styles, PMS colours, etc. When using emails please include a jpeg or bitmap file for colour proof.
